They say to use Terminal to use a /createinstallmedia command, but are referring to an Install app in the Applications folder, which just does not exist. Their instructions to actually make the bootable USB drive using that. There are instructions online for how to get a hold of the install files for older macs, such as. In short, I have an older Macbook Pro mid 2010, for which I've forgotten its login, so I have to, and want to, just do a fresh install of the latest OSX it can run, which is High Sierra.
